Activities
The Boy Scouts of America's aim is to provide opportunities for character growth. Much of this comes in the form of activities. The Pine Burr Area Council attempts to provide a wide variety of fun and helpful activities that Scouts and their families can participate in throughout the year. Often times these activities are designed to promote character building or provide service opportunities for the community.

NATIONAL GOOD TURN FOR AMERICA
Since the BSA’s inception in 1910, Scouts have learned to ‘help other people at all times’. Today, America needs the service of its citizens more than ever. Hunger, lack of adequate shelter, obesity – these are issues that affect all of us. The BSA believes that we can do something about these issues – if we work together. That’s why we’ve created Good Turn for America. Good Turn for America is a national call to service by the BSA to ensure adequate food and shelter and to develop good heath habits in our nation. Cub Scout Packs, Boy Scout Troops and Venture Crews across America will join together in this national call to service.
